It's a technique used to get rid of the "jaggies" that you see when you look at a straight-line or edge surface. On my Voodoo 5 5500, with 4x FSAA (which by the way keeps me pegged at 70fps at 800x600) it REALLY makes a difference in how the game looks. I haven't actually seen the GeForce AA myself. TZ.

They are the side-by-side comparisons, one with the motion blur, anit-aliasing, and depth of field. Well, I see NO improvement of the "jaggies". 1024x768 will never look the same again. I didn't mention this in my article: 1280x1024 w/ active T-buffer @60fps *sustained* framerate - Oh me, oh my.
